The Tree of Life: Creation

This piece is part one of a triptych that depicts life, death, and the space between. Creation is inspired by the life in the world; the growing and the flourishing. It depicts the creative aspect of nature. Everything is connected on the Earth and in the Universe; humanity is interconnected with all things on the planet. We are nurtured and sustained by the health of the planet and it is our responsibility to protect it to ensure a healthy future for all life. If we save the world, we save ourselves. The fork in the tree is representative of the two paths we have in life. We can live in harmony with the Earth, ensuring a good life for future generations, or we can live out of balance with the Earth; the path of destruction, ensuring the annihilation of the planet and an end to humanity. We all have a choice moment to moment: we can be conscious, caring, and compassionate people that support one another or we can choose a path of darkness, living in fear and negativity, with jealousy and hatred controlling our lives. We all have the choice between feeding the light within us or giving in to the darkness. What seed will you plant and what legacy will you leave behind for the generations to come?
